Security lens is an important part of the video surveillance system, it has an important impact on the quality of monitoring. This paper analyzes the process and the principle of the zoom system, it put forward a new structure, the second group as the zoom group and the fourth group as the compensation group.Designed a zoom security lens by the Gaussian optics and the mothed of scaling.the focal length of the lens range from6to60mm, F number of lens in the short-focus, focus, telephoto position is1.6,2.1,2.4. The system uses a1/3inch CCD as image sensor, the type of interface is CS. The system contains four groups and twelve lens, the maximum total length does not exceed100mm, and the minimum working distance is greater than9mm, to meet the assembly requirements. The center field of view is greater than0.3at1331p/mm, off-axis0.7field of view is greater than0.2at1331p/mm, total pixels are1.3megapixels. The system does not use special glass and aspherical lens, so the costs can be controlled. Finally, the cam curve be drawed by multi-point, the curve is smooth so that it can process have no difficulty. It is suitable for the better quality monitoring system.
