In recently years,with the expansion of production and in-depth practice in the field of people,we made both to be able to roughly identify the object being observed bigger area small magnification,while carefully observe it as a small area large magnification.Since infrared fixed focus system can only provide a single field of view and a single focal length,so you can not fulfill the needs of searching targets at the large field of view,and distinguishing details at the small field of view.In this case,the infrared zoom optical system came into being.The increasing importance of the infrared zoom system and the performance of the detector,making a substantial increase in demand for infrared zoom optical system.Although the formula in visible light systems were deduced,judging criteria,trade-offs and other classic optical design methods and technologies can be directly applied to the infrared system,but the infrared optical system is significantly different from the visible light systems,some of which are technical problems to solve or difficult,such as expanding the zoom range and improve performance,we also need to consider the size,weight and complexity of the reduced system.So infrared continuous zoom optical system design is the key to the development of infrared continuous zoom.The studies carried out in this thesis are based on the basic principle of infrared zoom system and the technical characteristics of infrared zoom optical system.The main points are outlined as follows:1.Mathematical modeling of infrared continuous zoom optical systemThe zoom system is analyzed by means of the zoom system.The zoom equation of the form of mechanical compensation is derived,and the form of the Gauss solution of the zoom equation is discussed.2.Selection of materials and components for infrared continuous zoom optical systemThe appropriate IR optical material,infrared non spherical optical element and diffractive optical element is selected to meet the requirements of imaging quality.3.Optimal design of infrared continuous zoom optical systemAccording to the zoom system zoom equation and the Gauss solution structure theory,we design the infrared zoom system.assess the image quality,and fit the zoom curve.4.Tolerance analysis of infrared continuous zoom optical systemThe optical design software is used to space lens,to analysis facial and center offset tolerance,which provide necessary basic for engineering development.5.Structural design and testing of infrared continuous zoom optical systemAfter the mechanical structure design of the zoom lens,the quality of the image is observed,the optical parameters such as MTF and other optical parameters are measured,and the overall performance of the product is evaluated.
