With the gradual reform of the china telecom system, China telecom has been challenged by the unprecedented competition. Telecom companies transfer the key point of production and management to the concept of"consumer -oriented". All the telecom companies meet with the cannibalization and great loss of customers, which caused them focus on their main business activities from products to customers. More and more telecom companies valued much of using technology to know about their customers and business activities. Therefore, in order to improve the core competition, telecom companies need, based on China Telecom Group's telecom operators in decision–making analysis system and technological nomination, to establish a uniformed data information platform that will construct information data of management analysis and decision-making. The decision-making analysis system can display and analyze data through OLAP and charts.Focused on the common needs of telecom companies'data analysis and decision-making and combined a specific telecom company, this thesis thoroughly designs and realizes a business analysis and decision-support system. It begins with the discussion of analysis of the data warehouse decision system and mainly analyzes the quality states and influence of telecom system data, check the knowledge base, combined closely with ETL progression of data warehouse, effectively cleared, transferred, and imported the data and make sure the equality of data in data warehouse; at the same time, this thesis investigated and analyzed five topics which this system should realize. The five topics include products, profits, competition, clients, consumptions. This thesis designs and realizes the relevant functions and supplies with the OLAP display function.In the end, trying to solve the typical problems as humorous data may cause the deduction of OLAP query and lower reaction, this thesis puts forward improved the affectivity of the whole system by the OLAP query CACHE design and the polymer sheet design and some other optimization means.
