Decision Support System In Telecom Ip Data Warehouse And Data Mining Research And Applications

With the development of society. the amount of information has become larger and larger. Consequently. the importance of information processing is increasing. In the !980's. Data Warehouse (DW). which is very widely related with Decision Support System (DSS). is introduced into the IT industry world. DW adopts a new way to organize data and to make analysis to support decision.This thesis introduces the principles and the development of DSS at first. Then we give out a detail design method and steps in the development of DSS based on the "Jiangsu Telecommunication IP Decision Support System (IPDSS)" project. After studying the principle and the building methods of DW systematically, we put forward the DW's application in the IPDSS.Then we study Data Mining (DM), discussing its method and the way of integrity with database, machine learning, so that we can build a solution in telecommunication. Finally, we emphasized to put forward the application of classification in telecom. We list the whole progress of data mining, including methods, steps and notifications. Some backwards were list out based on the performance of the algorithm. Then we modified the rule evaluation system. The performance proves the efficiency of the modified algorithm.
