With the rapid development of telecommunication services, telecommunications companies gradually build the complete business support systems such as the billing system, the settlement system, the canal system, the customer service system, the financial systems and the statistical systems etc. These systems accumulate vast amounts of data. How to set up a business intelligence platform and provide the enterprises with excellent decision support service, it is increasingly becoming a major challenge.Data Warehouse is most mature and widely used as enterprise service solution. Using of data warehouse integration within the telecom companies of all dispersed historical business data, we can support different departments within the enterprise, different needs, and different levels of users to access the information which they need. Facing the huge market potential and competition, how to build a management analysis system (MAS), which based on the advanced and comprehensive business analysis of the data warehouse, it is the key way to national telecom enterprises to enhance the core competitiveness and the customer satisfaction. After a comparative study of the mainstream data warehouse architecture, one MAS overall design is proposed. The design constructs a telecom enterprise data warehouse model according to the CTG-EDM model and the telecom actual operations of production systems. Through the data warehouse technology, a unified analytical platform, which can automatically integrate the data between the provincial level and the local level by enterprises data Extract-Transform-Load (ETL), is build. It provides the telecom enterprises powerful data management decision support through the reporting, multidimensional analysis, thematic analysis and data mining and other solutions.
