From BlueTooth to WiFi, Wireless Technology has made a great progress in our daily life these years.The latest Zigbee wireless communication protocol is a software protocol which is very good at short communication,low-power and low-cost application. It has remarkable advantages in industrial control area.At the same time, FCU thermostat which passed the mechanical-electrical state, electronic state and intelligently controlled nowadays plays an important role in Smart Home.In the paper, the wireless and thermostat technology was combined together, and we mainly described the application of wireless Zigbee technology used in FCU thermostat.The design of the temperature control system is finished. In the essay, the system requirements,framework and function were described at first, and then the application of the whole system was explained in hardware and software.We also introduced the wireless protocol, MeshNestic, and latest thermostat technology.Compared with the traditional FCU controller, the Schedule mode can be achieved and energy saving can be obtained in our design. To meet the temperature control, we use floating technology. Besides, in the design, many design analysis tools are used including Concept Selection tool and the Potential Failure Mode Analysis tool to select the design scheme and analyse risks. To ensure the design quality, we make relative performance test to the system. At last, a conclusion is drawn.
