At last it is pointed out that the transfer of project lessons learned knowledge between project team and organization is really meaningful to the accumulation of organization knowledge.Second, an investigation about how project lessons learned knowledge is shared in Company M is done, which focused on the sharing process and obstacles. After that, how to present and evaluate project lessons learned knowledge is also discussed. At the end, some actions about how to clear these obstacles and the whole solution for project lessons learned knowledge sharing is presented. Finally, based on the improved model for project knowledge sharing which is proposed in this paper, combined the solution here, a project lessons learned system is designed and implemented. The main features of this system include submitting, searching and viewing, maintaining, distributing, tracking lessons learned knowledge and report generation, which solve the issues include sharing lessons learned knowledge globally, refining quality of lessons learned knowledge continuously, transferring lessons learned knowledge to both expert team and further project team and improving the lessons learned process itself. This system has run in two sites in Company M and got positive feedback.
