| Multi-channel data acquisition system is always used in underwater acoustic signal sampling. And its main feature is saving data in a high speed and continuously. The data acquisition and storage system based on bus technology is used widely for its reliability, price, easy making and other merit. But when the speed of data transfer is very high, to keep reliable and real time in a high speed data acquisition process will be a very difficult problem. This thesis is to design a low layer software, which is based on a multi-channel data storage hardware system, considering speed, capacity and price.The thesis research and design a low layer software base on the multi-channel data acquisition hardware system. It studies PCI-X protocol, ATA protocol, hardware system. In the design, there are PCI-X controller program, IDE controller program, ARM testing programs. Now we can make 64 bit data transfer stably at 133MHz on the PCI-X bus, configure and develop Sil3124 freely, and make PC recognize mass storage device when saving data back.It is proved that the system can work stably and the proposal is feasible. As Sil3124 and FPGA having very high flexibility, the system can be expand or upgrade very easily. |
