FOG is an essential device in strapdown navigation system,which is representative in the development of future navigation systtem.When FOG carries on test in wild,it needs to save massive data.The existing gyrosystem board transmits the data through the computer serial port to the computer for storage by the asynchr- onous serial way,but in wild it is not convenient to carry on the computer.Therefore this article has designed a based on the control of FPGA storage system,the data from the gyrosystem is directly taken and saved into the storage system,it is more convenient and more quick.Firstly the paper introduces the constitution of the storage system board and the chip of it,mainly completes the design of hardware and partial software of the system.The storage system is based on the control of FPGA,and the data of FOG is taken and saved into FLASH,when we need to deal with the data,we take it from FLASH by the EZ_USB of the system.We design several modules to control each electric circuit part,including transformation module from Serial to parallel,FIFO module,FLASH module,EZ_USB module and main control module. Transformation module change the asynchronous serial data from the gyrosystem into parallel data;Because of the different speed between FOG data taking and FLASH writing,FIFO module is designed as a buffer;FLASH module is used to control the operation of FLASH;EZ_USB module is used to communicate with EZ_USB;The main control module is used to coordinate each module.This article designes and realizes these modules,and has carries on the simulation.Learning from the research to the USB main line under the driver of Windows system,we take more knowledge of the driver module using WDM pattern.Through compiling the Inf document and the Ezload downloading procedure,we have a more profound understanding to the EZ-USB chip unique working.Through the main engine side application procedure compilation,we realize the operation to the USB peripheral using the higher order language.
