"China Newsweek" Cover Story Study

From the United States penny paper in the nineteenth century, many countries' News media had rapidly developed. News media in the past had to give up the stick to the communicator-centered approach, they re-positioned their role in society and recognized the important role of the "market center".On the one hand, they in the guidance of the principles of content is king made every effort to improve the quality of the content; on the other hand, they initiative took to operate on the market, international standard, introducd new market-oriented philosophy sought more opportunities for development. China's news media industry, especially the news magazine, started late, but had developed rapidly. As the newborn of the new century——"China Newsweek", it is the typical representative of the Chinese news journal and had been accepted by many readers due to the success of its cover stories.In this paper, in accordance with the thinking of analysis of the status quo——made questions——released opinion, I will make an in-depth analysis of "China Newsweek" cover story from history to reality. This paper is divided into four chapters:The first chapter, recalled the development of Chinese cross-Newsweek course of two centuries, explained the concept of politics Newsweek, summed up the current politics of contemporary China Newsweek magazine features.The second chapter reviewed the Chinese news magazine cover story and some form of "China Newsweek" cover story of the history of evolution; explained the concept of cover story; finally, strictly redefined the cover story.ChapterⅢ, comprehensive and detailed analysed the cover story of "China Newsweek" from subjects reported,the number of reported article,nature of the report,targets of report,Characteristics of reported narrative,cover illustration and so on, which is the core thesis of this paper.ChapterⅣ. summed up demonstration, referenced to the "China Newsweek" cover story of the advantages and disadvantages generally, made my analysis to China's news weekly general problems; finally, looked forward to the prospect of china news weekly magazine.
