Study On The Cover Story Of China Newsweek(2007-2017)

The study is based on theories about journalism and linguistics to do content analysis on the Cover Story of China Newsweek,and it will lucubrate what causes the condition.On the basis of special political time nodes,the author did an entire survey on the 480 issues of China Newsweek from November 2007 to November 2017,which were published between 17 th CPC National Congress and 19 th CPC National Congress.And the issues researched were the study samples.Using content analysis and text analysis,the article analyzed Cover Story from 6 dimensions,including reporting field,reporting object,reporting tendency,reporting's quantity,cover design and narrative style.Ultimately,the study found that China Newsweek's Cover Story was deeply influenced by media ecology factors,such as politics,economy,and culture.The paper is under the guidance of media ecology and narrative theory,and it's based on the editions of the latest 10 years.As a result,the study in a sense makes up for the related studies' deficiency,which was lack of theoretical guidance or a wide range of samples.And this point is just the innovation of my study.
