The Study Of Cover Story Of China Newsweek

The research object of this article for the cover story of China Newsweek from 2003 to 2013, and using stratified sampling method to extract the 147 as the research samples.The text is divided into five chapters. The first chapter is the introduction part, which is the study of origin and the research significance, research method, etc.The second part focuses on the development of Chinese Newsweek, and describes the concepts of "newsweek" and "cover story".The.content study in the cover story of China Newsweek is the most important part of this article,which is verifying the assumption that China Newsweek bascially has the characteristic of the mainstream media from five perspectives including the coverage area,the nature of the report,the way of report,the report area,the report types.Using the correlation theories of narratology, such as narrative perspective, narrative subject, narrative characteristics to analyze the object of study is not only the innovation of this paper but also the deficiency.In order to improve the competitiveness of China Newsweek\,the author put forward some suggestions in the last chapter,such as shaping the reported characteristics,improving the readability and realizing the collaboration of the media.The conclusion has summarized the advantages and disadvantages of China Newsweek,point out the deficiencies,and propose the research direction for the subsequent studies.
