With the rapidly development of concurrent network technology, the amount of network access devices are dramatically increasing and the functions of these devices are becoming more and more complicated. A large amount of raw data are accumulated, thereby a practical basis for the application of data warehousing is constructed. Meanwhile, the intensive competitions between relevant telecommunication industrial companies enforce the decision-makers of the current network companies alter the old management thoughts and working patterns, for instance, reducing the operation risk by reasonable decisions, improving the efficiency of operation and maintenance, creating higher commercial profit. The research topic of this paper comes directly from the new requirements of telecommunication industries to statistically analyze those raw business data.This paper presents a detailed analysis on the key techniques and practical implementations of network analytical processes. Multiple optimization techniques and designs are integrated with ETL, DW and multidimensional database. And a new model is produced for the optimization of ETL. Based on the key techniques and business requirements of network statistical analysis, a new system is implemented. |
