Achievements Analysis Of Senior School Students Based On Data Warehouse And Data Mining

With the continuous development of information technology in education, it is widely applied in school management. The examination is an effective means to urge the students to learn in senior school management. A large number of student achievement data is stored in school managers' database. It is important for education managers to analyze the data and excavate useful information behind the data. In this paper, data warehouse and data mining are utilized to analyze student achievement in senior school. The main content is as follows:(1) The basic concepts of data warehouse, OLAP, data mining and the basic knowledge of SQL Server tools are introduced. The data warehouse of student achievement is established using SQL Server tools.(2) In view of the data warehouse established, The multi-dimensional data sets is generated by SSAS of SQL Server service, and carried on OLAP operation. Then the multi-angle, multi-level analysis of student performance is presented in Excel, which provided decision-makers with query timely and quickly.(3) Based on association rule mining algorithm and clustering algorithm, the data mining for data sets generated is conducted in order to discover the interrelation between the disciplines. According to the different types of the characteristics of the students, they can be classified and individualized.
