Research On Modeling And Simulation Of Radar Echo

This thesis is based on the simulation of signal source for a radar signal processing machine the author participated in; the modeling and simulation of clutter are researched. Clutter's amplitude distribution model, frequency spectrum distribution model, the principles and methods of clutter's modeling and simulation are analyzed in detail from the point of view of theory.The method of modeling the ground clutter for general pulse radar is analyzed, Using two different methods of Zero Memory Nonlinearity (ZMNL) and the method of Spherically Invariant Random Processes (SIRP), Lognormal-distributed clutter and K-distributed clutter are simulated and compared.The AR model for power spectral characteristics of coherent clutter and its simulation methods are studied, a modified Levinson algorithm with constraint conditions is put forward to simulate correlation gauss sequence. This method overcomes the infection of frequency field transformation method and satisfies the request of real short data. According real data, a new method of simulation clutter is put forward based on ZMNL and SIRP and FIR filter is designed. Clutter generated by this method is more inosculated with real data.In the thesis, the video echo of the airborne PD radar was simulated. The environment model of airborne PD radar is established, including target echo, ground clutter and noise. Based on the point scatters clutter, the thesis analyzed and deduced the simulation of ground clutter using grid-mapping format method. Correlated clutter of Rayleigh distribution with gauss spectrum and target is simulated, and then the video echo of the radar is received. The simulation results are analyzed; this method is proved effective.
