| Airborne radar signal simulating is mostly a simulation that aimed at radartarget and environment echo. The paper is based on development of Airborne radarsignal processor and carefully research for simulating theory , arithmetic and systemrealization of target and clutter. Based on radar echo model and radar operatingparameters, target and clutter data were calculated by personal computer in advance.Then the data were loaded to SDRAM of simulator by EPP of computer. Simulatoroutput two real time wave to signal processor system for sampling, pulsecompression, clutter suppress, target detect and display system, and realize real timesimulating of airborne radar.The main content in this dissertation include:1.Introduced basic knowledge of radar echo signal,including point targets model, clutter model and radar video signal model etc.2.Analysed characteristic of airborne radar echo signal and introduced simulation method of ground clutter signal, target signal and noise . Based on points scatters clutter, the thesis adopted Rectangular Gridded Formats to simulate ground clutter with Rayleigh distribution.3.Software design project, software function and software design flow of application etc., is developed in Microsoft Visual C++ environment with object design method. User can set different radar environment parameter, simulate radar echo data created in software and compute ,display video signal power spectral with ∑-? channels.4. Aiming at system realization of airborne radar echo simulation,the thesis introduced data format conversion of simulator, data read-in and output method.
