| This paper discusses how to accomplish the design and deployment of Client/Server mode based Dandong Transformer Company Sale Management System relying combination of C# and Microsoft SQL Server 2000.The main clients of Dandong Transformer Company Sale Management System are managers of the company and part of its stuffs. Being directed at concrete requirement claimed by the company and by specifying the design gradually, Dandong Transformer Company expects to improve the management of employees, datum and information, reduce the workload of managers and officers, increase the efficiency of work and make relative business standardized and automated, as well as expects to classify, collect, analyze and present the business data at any moment depending on the character of computer data processing that operation is strict, precise and reliable. Moreover, in possible situation, the company hopes to combine personnel, supply and information of sale together, increase the department's work efficiency, and make this system a helpful assistant and tool by the upper use of this system.After analysis in functional demand, Dandong Transformer Company Sale Management System is decided to adopt a measure, which combines C/S mode, Visual Studio 2005 deployment platform and C# language, in its overall design. In this way, the C/S mode based multi-machine data processing's advantage in application is exerted sufficiently and the real requirement that more than one people could run business simultaneously is satisfied; meanwhile, it follows the technological development of software design and insures the application's novelty and platform adaptability.The major designing idea of this paper can be summarized as follows: (1) the overall structure is based on C/S mode, which can satisfy the business department's requirement that many people and locations could be associated in business; (2) The sales department's business is designed as the core and main part of business process in the function mode; (3) to raise work efficiency and enhance coordination, different functions could be distributed and processed among different network hosts; (4) depending on the company's current situation and using its present LAN to achieve this system, the advantage of the company's computer network Yields the greatest returns; (5) the adoption of designing mode decreases the cost of system constructing and improves the generality, practicability and portability of products.The main work and contribution of this paper are as follows:(1) Feasibility study and demand analysis is one of focuses of this paper's work. After discussed and adjusted many times, this paper obtains relatively detailed requirements of functions including system logon, password management, personnel management, sales orders management, bidding informant management, clients information management, products information management, freight charges management, returned money management, financial statement reporting function, data query function, database maintenance management and system parameter management. Demand instruction is formed based on above information and plays an important guiding role when coding afterwards.(2) With a consideration of the current devices and datum, the system aims at maximizing the convenience during stuffs learn and use it, increasing the utilization of system resources remarkably and extending the application of information. This not only satisfies the required function rapidly and effectively, but also economizes resources. The technology of database management information system is adopted in the system to improve the company's general management level and practicability is emphasized in its design and scheme. When designing C#, business date processing is achieved through database technology, and the capability of distributed data processing is accomplished by the adoption of Microsoft SQL Server 2000 database system.(3) How to introduce an appropriate combination of arithmetic to realize the set demand and functional details is one of innovations of this paper. When distribute authorities to the system, we conceive an original idea relies on mathematical nature of prime number and divisible number. This idea plays a significant role in the design of authority distribution since it simplifies coding, increases efficiency and makes authority distribution convenient. In doing this, the efficiency of code and its modification is increased remarkably.(4) The sales royalty mode which is the kernel of operational function is designed in this system. The sales royalty arithmetic completely corresponds to the company's sale strategy. On the one hand it calculates each order's royalty according to the specifications of salesman; on the other hand it makes interest-bearing computation of system demand. This design achieves the function of reminding salesman about returned money and settlement of orders, also eliminates the burdensome work of sales calculation and realizes the personified design of reminding automatically.The principle of software engineering runs through the entire system design. In general, Dandong Transformer Company Sale Management System adopts some relatively mature concept of software design and theory of software engineering. The products receive a preferable feedback in real application, and previous circumstance that all information about business and sales managements needed manual operation is changed. After the running of this system, tremendous human resource and financial waste caused by original man-based management are avoided. Meanwhile the situation that each functional department operates and maintains large quantity of data separately is changed, which strengthens the coordination of work as well as the timeliness and veracity of data.
