With the development of economic and society, telemedicine is accepted by people little by little. Computer and communication technology play significant roles in the development of telemedicine. Only those that are compatible with universal computer and communication technology can achieve full performance of telemedicine.This paper gives a design of portable low power consumption electrocardiograph telemonitoring,which not only would fulfill all the function expected such as ECG data acquisition ,storing, processing, and alarm, but also strengthen the capability of interference and performance with lowest power consumption. The hardware and software design of the terminal are presented.The electrocardiograph telemonitoring based on MSP430 with 12bit analog digital conversation. It has active electrodes, lowest power consumption MCU unite and telecommunication unit. The equipment can gather and record the electrocardio signals automatically, also can analysis it at real time, once come to the result of arhythmia and send the signal out to the monitoring center through GPRS at real time.The outstanding is the active electrodes, which can improve the quality of the signal. The central idea of the design is placing the amplifier and filtering circuit ahead in the design of active electrodes. This design can remove the shielding driving circuit between the signal source and the amplifier circuit. The interference caused by the lines between the amplifiers and the electrodes is eliminated, at the same time, the circuit is simplified. This design let the terminal way from the GPRS mobile communications module, so pulse signal to the analog amplifier interference is obviously reduced.Soft of detecting of ECG in real time is designed in the microprocessor. It is on the basis of differential coefficient. In the communication, accounting for alleviating the burden of transmission and reducing the consumption of the system, the unit of communication is woken up from standby mode only when alarm signal is met.Experiments prove that it has the advantages of little volume, high anti-jamming capability and low power consumption and it is especially suitable for household monitoring and diagnosis and monitoring.
