Research On Shop Floor Management System Based On C/S Pattern

The workshop is the basic cell of production organizing, the joint of information streams and material streams. Shop-floor management is the emphasis and difficulty in enterprise management, which plays the roles of connecting link, process monitor and information feedback, it has become more and more important for enterprise informatization. In this paper, taking production management of a reducer company as its background, the shop-floor management system is designed, and information integration is realized, as well as strengthening material tracking management, decreasing difficulty for managers, optimizing the whole management process.On the base of summarizing the development situation and the research situation of production management technology at home and abroad at present, and the study of the manufacturing execution system theory, according to the long-term investigation on the spot in enterprise, an analysis is made on the production management process and existent problems from both sides of logistics and information flow. Combining the relevant theory of workshop management and advanced information technology, the functional model of the production management system is carried out to meet the requirement of enterprise. Through establishing the model of production process, the WIP (Working In Process) management is researched, at the same time, the methods of WIP tracking, production data collecting, integrating with purchase & supply subsystem and stock subsystem have been put forward to realize the production on-site data share and feedback. Except that, a visual display method of the production progress, as well as a variety of statistics is provided to support the managers to master the workshop production information. Using the UML (Unified Modeling Language), the process flow has been designed and analyzed, then the function modules are designed in detail, and the result is also been carried out. Based on C/S pattern, object -oriented designing method, SQL Server2000 database system and Visual Basic .NET are selected to finish this system.At present, the system is accomplished and a test run of it has been made in the company, the result of application proves the effectiveness and practicality of the work. This research contributed certain theoretic value and practical meaning to facilitating the discrete manufacturing enterprise informatization management.
