This thesis analyzed doctor image on newspaper in China through content analysis. The research found that the doctor image on the current newspaper is a negative image; Moreover, with the advance of the date, the number and intensity of the negative reports are growing.We analyzed the three reasons that why the doctor image is"demonizing". First, a large number of negative reports on the emergence of doctor to a certain extents makes"doctor"were marked"bad"mark, and have either round effects, making the audience inferred from the judgement of the quality of doctor, resulting in a negative effect; Second is that the fierce degree among different media now aggravates , the sense of crisis of newspaper increase because of the network's appearing. the newspaper needs to explore way out during this period .In order to attract more attention, a large number of negative news increased , leading to distorted doctor image creation meantime. Finally, the thesis discussed the course of doctor negative image from stereotype . Now and before ,the society's impression to doctor's image is deepseated. Because of doctor's special occupation decides , doctor image are defined be fervent , rigorous , consummate , noble , respect the job , a kind of person who heals the wounded and rescues the dying highly.At this time the need for paper based media outlets, and increase negative reports are an effective means of attracting the audience eyes, resulting in a distorted image of doctor.At last the thesis bring forwards some proposals and suggestions about how to improve the available newspaper's doctor image,which contain thought And method.and point out some shortage of the research.
