To meet the challenges of the intense market competition, the enterprises must integrate the interior and exterior resources roundly and build the sensitive market response mechanism with the new achievements of modern information technology. As an effective method to integrate the resources, ERP is widely applied in all industry to enhance the core competence of the enterprises. Applying the ERP technology to promote the operation level is especially urgent for traditional industry—apparel industry.Researches are developed as follows according to the ERP requirement of the Sundance apparel company.1,Based on the comprehensive survey of the company, the main business processes such as the marketing management, production management, finance management, customer relationship management, decision support management and POS retail management are designed and optimized with Structured Design Methodology, and the structure design and function modeling of the ERP system are accomplished as well, providing the groundwork for the ERP systematic design of the company.2,Introducing Balanced Scorecard in the Performance assessment of the ERP system, A three level evaluation index systems is established in the paper from the aspects of finance, customer, interior management, and studying and growing-up to guarantees the integration,objectivity and maneuverability of the evaluation index system.3,Analytic Hierarchy Process is applied in this paper to calculate the weights of ERP Performance evaluation index. And the ERP Performance assessment of S company is accomplished with the integrating method of Balanced Scorecard and Analytic Hierarchy Process. As a result, the assessment results obtain the validity from the S company.
