Research On TD-SCDMA Radio Network Planning

Third-generation (3G) mobile communications is the main mobile communications direction. TD-SCDMA is China's independent intellectual property rights with the 3G communication standard. With the TD-SCDMA technology increasingly mature, China has successively launched a TD-SCDMA network on the scale test. Thus, TD-SCDMA network planning and design becomes critical.By drawing 2G network planning experience, with TD-SCDMA to its own characteristics, this paper has conducted the research from the network operation and the market localization angle to the TD-SCDMA network planning. First, the general wireless network planning leads to the TD-SCDMA wireless network planning design process, on the TD-SCDMA wireless network planning design features (multi-carrier frequency network, slot planning, resource planning code, etc.). Then, a detailed study of the network planning and design process, including the corporate planning, pre-planning, detailed planning.TD-SCDMA corporate planning including cover plan, network level plan, cut area plan, position area plan, and 2G coordinated plan and so on. Wireless network pre-plan stage main research link budget and capacity estimate. The wireless network's detailed plan mainly back on the covering plan and capacity plan that belongs to the pre-planning, carries on the station site actual design.For furthering promoting the system of TD- SCDMA commerce, construct the network of TD- SCDMA which is manageable, operational, repairable, is important thing. To solve this problem, this paper will lay a foundation .
