TD-SCDMA (Time Division-Synchronous Code Division Multiple Access)standard is the first Chinese made to our IP-based, has been internationally recognized third-generation mobile communications standards.It has high spectrum efficiency, support non-symmetrical operations, uplink and downlink channels of frequency bands and other technical advantages.As a young technology, to the highly competitive communications industry stand out, network design will be a very important process, it will even affect the outcome of the network operator's business success.If the network planning properly, the system will decrease the quality of services, call outage probability increase or decrease the system throughput and reduce the retransmission rate and blocking rate increases, etc.This will lead to customer complaints increase, enabling operators to reduce benefits. So good network design can improve network service levels and increase the economic operators.With the end of TD Phase II, Phase III also has entered the preparation stage,China Mobile's plan is to cover all of the country at the end of 2011 cities, which requires our city such as H network planning for medium and small cities.However, such a huge network construction costs are also placed in front of us.China Mobile also GSM and TD-SCDMA has the right to operate, and GSM network already has 10 years of development, whether it is network coverage or site for resources, have a great advantage.China Mobile can take advantage of the existing GSM system, a large network of resources, a total station construction, using the original room, tower mast and the surface to develop TD-day networking, sharing of resources.This can not only solve the difficulties of site acquisition problems, and can save a lot of construction investment CAPEX (Capital Expense) and the operation and maintenance costs of OPEX (Operating Expenditure cost), to avoid duplication and waste of resources to substantially increase the utilization of existing investments and increase economic efficiency.Total points in the two systems, there is certainly a series of problems of interference between systems, which requires coverage of wireless network planning considering the goals, capacity targets, quality targets, cost targets, and many other factors, the comprehensive consideration of GSM wireless network status.This article first TD-SCDMA system, the basic principles and wireless network planning theory were described.On this basis, for the H market, TD-SCDMA system proposed wireless network planning and design.H City is a small tourist city, territorial-level city, has been included in TD-SCDMA third-phase project planning.This city's natural resources under conditions of H is the scale of network conditions and network planning, making full use of existing network resources, conditions, based on coverage objectives and service requirements, then, combined with network planning theory, the main city on the formation of H TD- pre-SCDMA network planning.Furthermore, on the TD-SCDMA and GSM / DCS base station to share the feasibility and methods of analysis and research, presented H market TD-SCDMA and GSM base station to share the project design.The main contents are as follows:Chapter I, Introduction. This chapter briefly reviews the development of TD-SCDMA standard process described TD-SCDMA network construction in the developing situation in China, pointed out the significance of this research topic, and then introduced the main contents and organization of papers.Chapter II, TD-SCDMA's basic principles.
