The research in this paper comes from the project of developping a certain radar signal processor. On the basis of analyzing the linear chirp radar signal model, this paper analyzes the principles of DDC, digital pulse compression, Moving Target Indication(MTI), Moving Target Detection(MTD), Constant False Alarm Rate(CFAR) and the way of practical implementation. Furthermore, the rationship between MTD and coherent integration and between DFT and doppler filter are studied. All the algorithms proposed in this paper are investigated and verified by compute simulation. On the basis of the theoretical analysis and simulation, the article describes the high-performance floating-point digital signal processor ADSP-TS101S hardware and software resources, and elaborated on radar signal board hardware design program based on the AD company's General Signal Processor ADSP-TS101S. The system with better real-time signal processing capability adopts parallel processing and achieves DDC, pulse compression and clutter suppression in engineering project, which consists of two Digital Signal Processors and satisfies the basic requiements of the task.
