Radar has been widely applied in the various fields, such as aerospace, meteorology, defense and some other fields. With the rapid development of technology, modern electronic and information warfare have higher requirements for modern radar. Modern radar has been faced with the threat of multiple new technologies, including a complex set of interference of electronic equipment, radiation-resistant, low and ultralow altitude penetration and stealth, which requires improving radar’s ability of resistance against ground objects, passive and active interference as well as target stealth. Meanwhile, as for the rapid development of information processing technology of software radio, theoretical study for radar greatly extendedBased on the software programming technology, the thesis took the linear frequency modulation pulse compression radar moving target indication as the research object, first introduced the historical background of Linear-Frequency-Modulation (LFM) pulse compression radar and key processing technology, which included the sampling theorem, multi-rate sampling and pulse compression principle, LFM signal and matched filtering, etc. Then introduced LFM pulse compression radar moving target indication theory and system diagram, adopted multiple pulse cancellation algorithm and eliminated or reduced blind speed processing methods according to the paper design requirements, and use Matlab to realize the impulse-cancellation-algorithm and blind processing methods of design and simulation, to verify algorithm’s correctness and feasibility. Third, introduced system design principle, structure and main software system function of radar moving target indication software, and use VC++6.0MFC dialog designed system, by writing C++code to realize human-computer interaction interface system design of radar moving target. Finally the paper gave test results of radar moving target indication system, and make analysis and conclusion to the thesis.
