In this paper, design and implementation of embedded system based on DSP and 1553B bus is elaborated from two aspects, namely, hardware system design and software program design.Firstly,the scheme of system hardware design is elaborated, including DSP, CPLD,1553B bus interface,A/D,D/A,switch input/output, timer, impluse and external interrupts input. Secondly, the design process of the internal logic of CPLD is introduced. Thirdly, the realization and process of test of 1553B bus as RT mode have been descripted in detail. Finally the design and implementation of other modules of the system software is studied.Combining the advantages of the powerful data processing of DSP, the flexibility of CPLD and the characters of 1553B bus, which are distributed processing, Centralized Control and Real-Time Response, the merits of this system are high system integration, high processing speed, and high versatility and scalability. In this design, a general solution is supplied, which is for further study on embedded system based on DSP and 1553B bus adapter.
