It has become a significant development direction of improving combat capacity of weapon systems by means of integrating electronic devices on weapon platforms(such as the aircrafts,the ship,and the chariot and so on)in accordance with internet protocols. The MIL-STD-1553B is a widely-used communication standard among their integrated weapon platforms of global military powers.Based on the 1553B BCRTM developed by a domestic research institute,the research on 1553B bus communication board is presented in this paper.Firstly,the basic knowledge of 1553B bus,including its features,components and the transmission mechanism and so on,is described in this paper.And then,according to requirements of design,the design proposal of the embedded 1553B bus communication board is proposed and dcmonstratcd.The next is to introduce the design of the hardware and software in detail.The hardware mainly consists of two modules,one of which is the embedded system and the other is 1553B protocol processing system.The embedded system is mainly consisted of the Samsung's S3C44BOX,and the 1553B protocol processing system is mainly made up of 1553B BCRTM.The software is composed of the U-boot transplantation of S3C44BOX,the development of the driver for 1553B BCRTM and the basic testing program for 1553B bus.In the end,some debugging situations is introduced about internet of embedded 1553B communication board with commercial board and the result is analyzed.The results of the research present that the design proposal of embedded 1553B bus communication board is correct.The hardware design meets the requirements of the 1553B standard.Based on this board,the further design can be carried out.
