Research And Development Of Network Office Automation System Based On Workflow

WUOAS(workflow-based university office automation system)is a project of JiLin Agriculture University campus network application construction. It is developed to adapt the demand of administrative office modernization.Traditional OA(office automation)system have much difficulty to meet the new demand due to lack of flexibility and poor cooperation.It is considered that the workflow technology adopted by current OA system can solve the problems mentioned above.In this paper, application of technology to the Jilin Agricultural University, office automation system had an in-depth research and development. Papers on workflow technology, workflow management model had an in-depth study;according to the Jilin Agricultural University, office of the day-to-day realities,the office of the network system of concrete solutions, analysis of the office network system needs, system architecture, design and the core business model required for the development of the platform. The use of workflow technology to the Jilin Agricultural University office network systems management subsystem document design and implementation,to achieve a better mark for his approval and revision of the state to retain and pass, it is issued to ensure that the offices be able to timely, accurate and completely understand the meaning of the instructions of the leaders, its approach entirely appropriate for the office needs of Jilin Agricultural University.Due to the different characteristics of the office of Colleges and Universities,office automation system is also a wide range of needs, and even many of the details are different. In the system environment we choose JAVA/JSP technology, OA base on JAVA/JSP has a lot of characteristics,such as user friendly,objec toriented,architecture independent,hardware independent;It is not only having portability , decentralization, robust, safety, encapsulation,interpreter but also provide concurrency, multithread, dynamic & high compute performance MIS.In this paper,various software development methods are analyzed,use for reference workflow theory of BPR, the workflow concept for developing OA software is established.A workflow-method (workflow-based OA software developing method)is proposed. Aiming at the administrative OA work characteristic and operation flow requirement, workflow-method (analyzing organize framework,set up work list,extract workflow,create logical workflow model using Petri net, construct workflow prototype, WUOAS integrated) is adopted to develop WUOAS.Workflow technology research is one branch of CSCW(computer supported cooperative work).
