The paper also does further research about the general model of SDH Network Management System .on the foundation,the paper design one kind of the SNMP-Based SDH Network Management System(SBSNMS).The SBSNMS is composed of alarming management, performance management,configuring management, maintenance management, safety management etc. five sub-systems matches each other, completing comprehensive management of network.The paper designs and realizes the Performance Management System.The main work of the paper is collecting and processing network performance parameter .This system collects original performance data by making use of SNMP .We can acquire the interestring information by analysing original performance data.we alse can acquire the operating situatiopn of the network,then further analysing network present condition, detecting network problem, helping network programming, really realising the network performance.We can assure quality of web service by analysing the performance data.Finally,the paper summarizes the whole work.The paper predicts the development trend of Network Management System by researching the current network management situation.
