Research And Design On Information Intergration Platform For University Based On CIM Model

Education informationization is an important part of the national informatization system. It plays a crucial role in the development of education, and also motivates the innovation and reform in education thoughts, patterns, models, contents and methods. In the field of higher education, the core of education informationization is to build a digital university, which means to improve the management efficiency by ways of the exploitation and integration of all kinds of application systems. Hence, it is of great necessity to build up a common information model and information integration platform for universities.This paper aims to build up an integrated management system. In this article, the author firstly analyzed university top service, professional field, functions, and data by the method of CIM, and then proposed the CIM model by use of Rational Rose Software from the aspects of CIM division, CIM subpackage, CIM substantiation as well as substantial attributes. This model can realize the integration of information among universities. Based on CIM model, the structure of information integration platform, the structure of system integration, the designs of CIM switching devices and component interfaces were built up. This integration platform adds a layer service tool to maintain the least influence caused by the service change and solves the key problem of emphasizing the technology and belittling the service standard. At last, with the scenes of delivering scholarship in DUT and the methods and procedures of CIM, this paper realized the application of the integration system, and also proved the correctness and efficiency of CIM model.This research will provide a tentative insight for the complete and development of university information integration platform, and it will be meaningful to the study of building a universal digital university.
