Researches And Design Of Information Integration System In Universities Based On Common Information Model

With the development of more than10years, the information construction ofChinese university have made great achievement. Almost every department of thecollege has develop their own application system, however, there is a huge problemthat these systems were not connected with each other, for another word, there areinformation islands. To connect these islands and get the result of1+1>2is the mainjob of information integration.In this paper, we put the Common Information Model(CIM) which is appliedwidely in the energy and the public health into the education area to advance theinformation integration system.First, we analyzed the operational domains of universities and colleges, sums upthe business model of universities and colleges and describes business model as thefunctions model and data model that is referenced in designing period in this thesis.Then, we used the RUP methodology and the object-oriented analysis method todesign CIM, which is the innovation of this thesis. And then we designed thecomponent adapter which is the key of our job.In addition, we need to integrate the subsystems and encapsulated as a third partyapplication services, in particular, is in accordance with the standard CIM integration(GDA) and common data interface specification encapsulated into a web service, andservice to registration to the enterprise integration bus (ESB), make the service objectcan be through the ESB requests for service to the system, so as to realize theintegration of the application.Then, we carried out on the system function and performance test. Test resultsshow that the design method based on common information model can well realize thefunction of information integration system, good performance and stable function,perfect our system.Finally, we on the system and the thesis is summarized and prospected.
