Millimeter-wave technology is a developing subject, it means much to the consolidation of national defence and the development of economy. Since this subject counts on both theory and practice, a teching experimental system is mor and more important. The frequency of millimeter-wave varies from 30GHz to 300GHz, it is difficult to inplement a millimeter-wace system. So the purpose of this thesis is the design and implement of an RF audio transceiver system to simulate a superheterodyne millimeter-wave receiver. It consists of three main parts: the design of the transmitter, the design of the receiver, and the debug and test. The design of the transmitter consists of three aspects: the design of frequency modulation circuit, the design of the phase-locked loop, and the design of the power amplifier circuit. The design of the receiver includes four parts: the introduction of mixer, the introduction of phase detector, the design of the demodulation circuit and the design of the audio power amplifier. The designs begin with the theories, then the selecting of mehods and elements, and end with the implement of the circuit. The debugging tool is ATTEN spectrum analyzer AT5011+, and the spectrum results are analyzed. The last part gives a summary to all the work done by this thesis.
