| The demand for PPR used as water supply and sewerage piping in buildings, city planning system and urban gas piping stimulates the development of plastic piping machines. But domestic-made plastic pipes can't compete with those made in Japan or Europe in efficiency, precision and stability. The inadequate technology is strongly affecting the development of China's plastic machine industry. Since China entered WTO at the end of 2001, domestic-made plastic piping machines, impacted by advanced imported products, have been losing the competitiveness in the market. In plastic industry developed countries, digital technology, AI control and servos have been widely used in the industry of plastic piping machines, realizing the on-line control in production line of plastic molding equipment and establishing a feedback system together with on-line inspection equipment. At present, the automation of domestic plastic piping equipments is at a low level as a whole. The vicious competition within the industry results in the few application of highly precise inspection devices and advanced control technology.This paper, by studying and analyzing the current situation of the application of most automatic control equipments of pipes production, offers a design of Automatic Cutting Control System of Plastic Pipes and interface thickening system controlled by SCM. This system, with AT89S52 SCM as its core, combined with D/A data switching and RS485 communication technology, realizes the configuration, store, display and processing of all sorts of parameters. This is intended to elaborates this system from function design, choice of electronic elements, hardware circuit design and software design and so on.Actually tested by pipes producers, this system is reliable and easy to use. In addition, with its flexible design, simple structure and low cost, it can be used in mass production and widely used by producers of different pipes. |
