Since the 1960 s,laser cutting technology has been widely used in many different industries because it has many advantages such as quick cutting speed,cutting with no deformation,high precision and variety of cutting materials.In recent years,with the increasing demand for automatic cutting from enterprises,the traditional way of manually editing the template cannot meet the needs of industrial production.With the rapid development of digital image processing technology,it combined with laser cutting more and more closely.The use of digital image processing technology to improve the automation level of laser cutting is becoming mainstream.And this paper proposes a method of automatic generation of high precision cutting path based on the feature of cutting object that matches this trend.A complete set of digital image processing software is designed to realize laser intelligent cutting based on the high precision path automatic generation method in this paper.The intelligent cutting system consists of three parts: CCD correction module,template acquisition module and intelligent cutting module.In the actual production,for the cutting object that has broken edges in the clothing images,the commonly used automatic edge detection technology can not obtain a complete cutting path.Therefore,this paper presents a method to overcome this difficulty by using template matching with standard template to realize the automatic generation of high-precision cutting path.In addition,to make automatic generation of high-precision cutting path more quick,this paper proposes a pyramid hierarchical matching method to realize the fast identification and positioning of the processing object in the intelligent cutting module.Taking into account the influence of CCD camera itself on the cutting path accuracy,in the CCD correction module,an effective method to detect the verticality of the installation of the CCD by using laser cutting machine itself is proposed.The validity of the method is verified by the experimental data,and the acquired image quality is ensured.For meeting the automation requirements of intelligent laser cutting,a complete intelligent laser cutting system using path automatic generation method is designed after taking into account the influence of the image acquisition system on the cutting precision.The system realizes automatic generation of the high precision cutting path through the CCD correction module,the template acquisition module and the intelligent cutting module,which lays the foundation for the intelligent cutting of the laser processing system.The software developed in this paper has been experimented on the laser cutting machine of Ruian Boye Laser Application Technology Co.,Ltd.,which greatly improves the qualified rate of intelligent cutting and improves the cutting efficiency.
