| Bingdian weekly from China youth daily has stirred great public attention and has played a role in pushing Chinese society towards the direction of positive development since it was initiated on Jan.6, 1995.Therefore, Bingdian weekly is considered to be an excellent column by readers. But what is the characteristic that ensures its success? The answer to question is the focus of this thesis.This thesis reviews the history of the weekly, including the origin, feature, advantages and disadvantages, and gives an all-round introduction from eight aspects. The success of Bingdian weekly has set a good example to Chinese media. Meanwhile, the thesis is mainly focused on the breadth of the research, therefore neglecting the depth, on which I wish to get the supervisors instructions.Besides, I hope my research of Bingdian weekly can give inspiration and help to the successors on news research and writing. |
