| News of people's livelihoods is an important concept first appeared on urban newspapers and achieved as one category in TV news there years. As a new form of news although not so prevailing yet, the News generated no little confusion in the society, and well deserves probing and calls for clarification on analyzing for healthy development in the future.The writer first undertakes systematic study of the background context of the News as a language term, as well as the opinions and attitudes towards the News, trying to attribute explicit definitions over the connotation and extension of it. Then, on the basis of detailed and comprehensive statement on the actual operation of the News, he explores in dialectic contemplation on the News which appear so robust in the development, fully affirming the successful experience as well as its positive role in the enhancement of social harmony, and meanwhile conducting rational and deep analyses over the varied problems underlying in the operation and practice of the News.
