Analysis Of China's Media Subject To National Rationalism's Construction

From the late Qing Dynasty, China's thinkers have attempted to transform the Chinese national's incorrigibility by the Western advanced thought through the newspaper. More than 100 years have passed, the Chinese people still need to been enlightened, need science and democracy. China's media, from abandoning the fake,big and empty to enlightening people, have made considerable progress. In order to promote the government decision-making and the nation more rational, to impel the system more perfect, the media person should make the news been declared to the world objectively, accurately and in time without been neglected by the historical dust. It is an arduous task for the media.Differently to some papers conducted the research only in view of the performance of the media, this paper carries out the research from the perspective of national rationality construction through some methods such as content analysis. It has analyzed the importance of constructing rational spirit in China now, reviewed the history of national enlightenment by media from late Qing Dynasty to the founding of People's Republic of China, described the present situation of How China's media constructing the national rational spirit from the positive and negative sides. At last, it has discussed how the media can construct national rationality, for example, building institution, leading public rationality by media person's rationality, using various forms to carry on the rational expression, ensuring the rationality of the content and so on.
