| With the rapid progress of Internet and the continuous deepening of enterprise IT application, business intelligence emerged. The BI application allows the decision makers analysis and processing enterprise information in an effective and rational fashion, which provide a reliable basis for the production decision.Business intelligence is usually understood as transform existing enterprise data into knowledge, it's deemed as a tool for help people make business decision in reason.Think of BI as commercial solution should be more appropriate. The key of business intelligence is to extract useful data from enterprise and clean up to ensure the correctness of data, then after Extraction, Transformation, and Load, (that is the ETL process), to a merger of enterprise data warehouse or a data mart which relates to the application of department business, thus come into being an overall view of the enterprise data. Upon this basis, use of appropriate inquiries and analysis tools, data mining tools, OLAP tools for the data analysis and handling, at this phase, information converting to the knowledge of assist make decision and then provide the knowledge to the governor, support for the governor in the decision-making processs.This paper discussed the application of business intelligence model and system architecture, provides reader a detailed description of the Business Intelligence applications which on an Enterprise Portal System architecture. Through Portal software architecture technology, integrate the BI web reports and analysis functions into the enterprise Portal. This paper describes a method of how to use UML design BI portal system, and focused on discuss of developing Portal system and intelligent web reports which has multi-layer system architecture based on J2EE technology. This paper also introduced how to transform the raw data into functional analysis required data and then forms it to a data mart. At last, this paper described system function and usage. |
