Regulation Report Of Minsheng Bank And Implementation Of Data Mart System Design

As the economic system innovates in China, there is a significant revolution of financing structure. The development of banking industry comes to a new phase. The development of banking industry should be supervised constantly, efficiently and strictly. Most banks have established regulatory reporting system in order to improve the work efficiency. However, There is a highly increased difficulty of using the regulatory reporting system because of the inconsistent standards, high degree of difficulty of the integration process, complex business logic, and numerous business system. The Minsheng Banking Corporation will build a flexible, unified, standardized regulatory reporting system by using integration of business data ensuring the judgment ability simultaneously, in order to improve the core competitiveness and economic benefits.Firstly, There will be a particular introduction of the data mart, key technology of data warehouse, development situation and application prospect and comparative analysis of their advantages and disadvantages along with the discussion of function, the data and statistics requirement in this dissertation. Secondly, there will be a deeply investigation, analysis of the banking supervision requirements. Finally, the regulatory reporting data mart system was established based on the Web system on the J2 EE platform with the three layers of structure system.Data mart and data warehouse is the best way to achieve the decision support system. They ensure data source adequate, complete, accurate, and run the policy model run correctly. The data mart should be designed refer to central data warehouses with the regulatory reporting form established, and OLAP data base should be established according to OLAP multidimensional data analysis principle. Furthermore, it is necessary to establish ETL module and extract data from the database regularly. The data should be stored in data mart. The accuracy data should be processed efficiently. The data mart system is established initially and tested and debugged afterwards. The result of my project implements the system requirements which off-site regulatory report form data mart system achieves the practical demands.The conclusion of my project indicate that the decision-support system base on data mart technique plays a significant role in the informationalized and automatic regulation in the Minsheng Banking corporation and the other department. This system achieved the anticipated target which met the requirement of regulation report form. It shows that the data mart has a wide development as a fundamental technology for its perfectly support of DDS.
