With the end of protection period of China's entry to WTO, more and more foreign media super companies entered into Chinese newspaper and advertisement market. Meanwhile with the continuous execution of open door policy in the aspect of media market, fierce competition will be observed in the market of media group corporation..The end of protection period of China's entry to WTO, carrying out of open door policy in media market, implementation of policies such as fostering and developing of advertisement enterprises, outline on speedy development of news and print creates the threats to the development of daily newspaper enterprises, however it also brings the precious development opportunities for them.Under such circumstances, it's critical and urgent for Fujian Daily Newspaper Group Company with the history several years only to select its development strategy and prepare its development plan for splendid future.On the basis of review and analysis of related articles and combination with the theoretic knowledge and its analysis tools and methods derived from enterprise strategic management, management theory and human resources management etc., the author conducts the research on development strategies of Fujian Daily Newspaper Group Company.This article analyses its outside environments and inside conditions and draws conclusions that opportunities are bigger than threats on its outside macro environments and competition, and advantages are more than disadvantages on its inside resources and competition abilities.On such a basis and through the combination analysis method of SWOT and PEST, the author suggests on selecting development strategies with 3 levels as below and meanwhile describes the measures for smooth implementation of those development strategies respectively.Corporate-level Strategy: (1) multi-operation strategy; (2) loose union strategyBusiness-level Strategy: (1) centralization strategy; (2) differential strategy.Functional-level Strategy: suggests on focus on (1) organization structure; (2) resources management; (3) creativity management; (4) risk management; (5) leadership and implementation (6) enterprise culture.In addition, on the basis of field practices, the author analyses "union strategy" and creatively puts forward to the concept of "loose union strategy" in supervision field.Hope this article could be helpful to the establishment of strategic plan of Fujian Daily Newspaper Group Company.
