The subject takes the High-Speed Slitter Machine FSD400 as the base, which is produced by SHAANXI BEIREN with the advantages of compact structure, easy operation, reliable performance and high efficiency and also conforms to the developing trend of the international slitter. PLC and Man-Machine-Interface are the cores of the slitter machine, which can synchronously control unwind, feed and rewind and also control the slitter machine at logical operation and close-loop PID tension control.The main study for the subject:(1)Based on the present situation and developing trend of domestic and overseas slitter machine, and considering the problems existed in the manufacture of domestic slitter, we try to improve the slitter machine for its basic structure, design idea, rewind/unwind tension control, automation and human nature.(2) Analyzing the machine structure, tension produce and its control principle, factors to affect tension and various modes of rewind/unwind, we try to provide the base for the new-type design and research of the control system.(3) Reel diameter checking is the important link for the slitter machine, so we analyzed and compared various checking method and their checking accuracy and we chose the ultrasonic sensor to check unwind/rewind reel diameter.(4) Analyzing dancer roller and tension sensor structures, tension checking principles and features, so we chose the tension sensor to check the unwind/rewind tension.(5) According with the requirement of the subject, we confirmed the hardware structure, systematic control and established PID control mode. We use the PLC to synchronously control the close-loop tension and rewind/unwind motion.(6) Using one-dimensional plotting function (X, Y )of MATBAB to plot the tension characteristic curve for pneumatic slip-shaft, tension validation curve and tension measurement curve.
