Research And Implementation Of Database Performance Tuning Based On ORACLE (OLTP)

The database performance is a footstone of current enterprise application.The problem of the database system performance more and more outstanding and come into being the bottleneck of business enterprise application,along with the network application and the electronic commerce develop continuously and the database scale is an immediately continuous extension . So the research that tuning the database become very important.China Construction Bank is a stock commercial bank that is placed in to lead position in the Chinese market, providing the overall commercial bank product and service for the customer. China Construction Bank set up to unify of customer the information system(ECIF) under the unify system frame of customer relation management(CRM). The ECIF(the Enterprise Customer Information, ECIF) is a customer information system of business enterprise level ,its construction target is to integration all agreement customers and the latent customer, found the customer's single view in the business enterprise level.This article mainly analyse the ORACLE database, diagnoses and tuning the ECIF system of China Construction Bank, the target is the tuning the database to improve the Quantity of Users'Access and lower the response time, satisfying the business enterprise customer's need. This article mainly carried on as follows several works :1. Analyse the operating system performance data(the CPU,memory,I/O and SWAP)and discover performance bottleneck.2.The database carried out the first step analysis(the database parameter and physical data file distribution).3.Usage the STATSPACK to examine the database (from the database performance:buffer catch hit ratio,ORCLE wait event and the SQL in application), discover the performance bottleneck.4.Aim at the database performance bottleneck, take a project for the database tuning.5.The application tuning, explain the index usage principle and the SQL program technique.Passing above several diagnosises and tuning, China Construction Bank ECIF system database increase the Quantity of Users'Access from 400 to 500.The time of hypercharge SQL reduce obviously, decrease phenomenon of dead lock and lock wait , the system is placed in high performance status.
