The Design And Implementation Of Transmission Network Management System Line Management Subsystem

In recent few years, with the rapid development of the telecommunication industry in China, the capacity of the telecom network is becoming larger and larger, more and more kinds and numbers of network equipments are existed in the network which makes the network more and more complex. With the rapid progress of telecom network and request of service quality, the existing technology of network management can't satisfy the require of network management and make the construct of network management system more difficult. At present, each level of network management system is isolated, which makes the circuit configuration, network guard and optimize more difficult. Based on current telecom network condition and the progress of the development of the network management system, with the demand of integrating of the network management, improving the network efficiency and reducing the maintenance cost, China Mobile plans to develop integrated network management system, maintain and manage the network in a unified way.TMN(Telecommunications Management Network) is a most commonly used network management technology and it is a good approach for the development of integrated network management system, but it does not address more detail on how to construct the management system and how to implement the interoperation among the management system. How to fulfill interface has become the most complicated problem in developing integrated network management system. CORBA (Common Object Request Broker Architecture) is a relative mature distributed Object Oriented technology and very suitable for management systems which are on different environment and different computer, fulfill the ideal link of different object. Based on this, the most perfect integrated network management solution is the combination of TMN and CORBA, this article will take the construction of China Mobile 's integrated network management system as the background and Related to the use of technology to implementation of China Mobile 's transmission line network management system management subsystem as research process, Through GIS(Geographical Information System)technology to target resources and geographic data together closely, and telecommunications physical resources management, logical resource management, resource scheduling management into them. Allow users a clear view of the management of resources targeted at the same time also be able to conduct telecommunications business operation. And to allow different users or managers more timely and accurate understanding of the region's telecommunications use of resources.This paper first describes the system in the background, objectives, principles and the corresponding development system technology, Second on the overall structure, focusing on the management subsystem line and the realization of the design, Finally, the transmission network management system as a primer Stephen and thinking to broaden to build a comprehensive network management ideas. The goal of the project has already been finished according to the planning. The whole system has been put into large scale of application in the China Mobile communication network and in good and reliable running so far. The system needs to be improved and added with new functions because of the social needs and the constant changes in the business of telecommunication department.
