Now many telecom operators of China have a large telecom networks. And with the kinds and amount of network devices adding, the complex of network management is increased greatly. Multiple device vendors and the absence of general interface specification bring a lot of difficulty for network managing. To resolve the problem it is urgent to build the integrate transport network management system eliminating the difference between device providers, providing general monitor for transport network and making basis for inventory management and control. So the construction of integrate transport network management system is the basis for the scientization, automation and intelligentize of transport network operation and maintenance (O&M). This system can satisfied the requirement of transport network O&M, and help network operators providing high quality and efficiency services to their customers.This paper realized a transport network management system on the basis of research on transport network management, system modeling and interface techniques. This system realized the real-time maintenance of alarm, performance and construction information and the operation flow control by integrate abstraction of internal relationship between sub-systems of the whole network. This system increased the work efficiency of different level of network managers and contributed to transport network construction and optimization.This paper considered the transport network reality and the emergency transport network management problems, proposed the transport network management system architecture, software structure and the performance requirement based on the three layer-two level transport network management precondition of China mobile. This paper will direct the following transport network management construction.This paper researched the main modeling methods and proposed the resource and data modeling method for transport network management. The resource data can be processed after general modeling to support the up-layer application, and the consistency and stability of data can also be satisfied.This paper researched the realization and application of transport network management system and selected the realization of CORBA south direction interface of the collection and adaption layer as an example. The transport management system has been deployed at China mobile and got perfect application effect, so the correction and efficiency design solution of this paper is verified.
