Research And Analysis Of Optical Transmission Network Management Model Based On Corba

As the development of communication and computer technology, Network management is being developed. In future, It has an import impact on network development. Network management is the control, layout, surveillance and configure of network; and makes the best of network resource; and ensures that network safely, effectively and reliably run.Network Management System(NMS) is an application software that can run on the operation system, and utilises database as its data storage server. It can accept alarm and performace information from telecommunication equipment, still configure network and equipment to meet various practice needs. By the Network Management system, the past status of Network may be analyzed and evaluated; and the future running state may be forecast. Therefore, NMS may support strongly telecom network.In the forepart, though there was NMS, the scope of network was small, and the degree of complication was low. Hence, simple, special NMS might meet requirement. Along with the development of communication technology and increase of telecom business, the kind and number of equipment have been largely added; and new technology of corresponding network management has been come forth. Although the criterion of Telecom Management Network(TMN) is invariable, the realization of NMS is variable. The various NMSs take much maintemance questions to network managers, which is the contrary to operational simpleness that operators ask. So how to manage multi-vendors and multi-technology's equipment must be solved for operators.To the above question, this thesis mainly researches to manage mulit-vendors and multi-technology's communication equipment. To the aim, a unified information model must be established. If only adopting a unified information model, inter-operation can been realized. In the TMN, vendors may decide definition and realization of their own equipment and network management, but must invest a unified interface on the network management system to outer.Firstly, this thesis analyses traditional SNMP and CMIP'model, then introduces popular distributed technology--CORBA, then put forward a kind of information model of based-CORBA EML-NML interface, at last realize.
