As most important executive component, electric actuator has huge impact to the safe operation, reliability and modulating character. So there is great value to study the control method of electric actuator. High requirement has been set to control method due to the high precise level, fast responsive speed without overshoot, good stability and good robust character of steady state.Position servo control of the electric actuator made up of permanent magnet DC motor has been studied, and a control method used in electric actuator has been proposed to achieve the aim of fast and precise positioning of the electric actuator. Design of fuzzy controller does not depend on the mathematical model of the object, but there is lack of method of analysis and design method; slide-mode control has good robust character to system parameters change and load disturbance, but the dithering of slide-mode is hard to eliminate. Fuzzy slide-mode control which is integrated by the two methods has advantages of them both. Fuzzy control was combined to slide-mode control to reduce its dithering, and slide-mode control was combined to fuzzy control to provide theoretical foundation of design and analysis for it. Some theoretical analysis of fuzzy slide-mode control has been done and has been used in electric actuator control, the design of position servo control system has been simulated and proved for its feasibility.Because permanent magnet DC motor is used as dynamic component of actuator, adjustable DC power is needed to implement control method. Topological structure and control method of driving power of DC motor has been studied. Non-isolated voltage drop switching power supply which is controlled by PWM is adopted after phase shift control using thyristor and DC chopper using full-control switching component were tested. It implement AC power conversion adaptability in the wide voltage range from 80V to 250V, thus the system could work well and show good system performance even the input voltage range are wide. At last, the design of the total system with proprietary controller using FPGA is given.
