In cable television networks of the optical communication systems, optical laser drive is a key component of the transmitter . It can provide sufficient current to drive directly modulated laser diode, or sufficient voltage to drive the indirect modulation of the electro-absorption. Usually, laser diode requires more than 40 mA of drive current. The modulator requires more than 2 V drive voltage to ensure adequate Extinction For example, what are the high-speed and large-signal output from the conditions to meet these requirements. So, the problem is how to guarantee the stability of the normal laser and deal with the issue in the light of the transmitter and reduce losses. Through overall monitoring the various optical transmitter, we can find the source at least time, so that greatly reduce the time to deal with this problem, and reduce losses to the minimum level.By using a wireless network communication technology, the GPRS network this paper firstly completed the data communication and control; furthermore through applicating comprehensively the single-chip microcomputer embedded systems, databases, J2EE, network communication and JAVA technology, this paper implemented the software designing from the crew to the control center and the optical Transmitter Remote Control function.In this paper the design and realization of a wireless network based on GPRS transmitter remote-controlled closed system, which through the use of optical transmitter control, GPRS communications and Internet server in the network, to complete state data monitoring, collection and storage for the optical transmitters. J2EE technology will be used to work data released in the form of Web pages, and provide interactive web site management functions to achieve the optical transmitter remote monitoring. Through practical test, the optical transmitter monitoring system can finish the normal completion of the majority of local console functions, and it' s a new layout and design, reliable, flexible and highly efficient management. Its methodology for the design and implementation of the current monitoring optical transmitter has positive significance.
