Street Lights Remote Monitoring And Control System Based On Gprs And Design,

The controlling method for traditional street lamp lighting system cannot satisfy the needs of modern city, for the questions exiting in it such as low efficiency, high cost, unable to monitor. The characters of advanced street lamp remote measuring and controlling system are automatic, reliable, effective, saving and convenient, which can remedy these defects. In this paper, after studing the working principles, functions and characters of the street lamp remote measuring and controlling system, a new street lamp remote measuring and controlling system based on the GPRS communication was designed, which improved the insufficiency in traditional communication technology greatly.This paper introduced the principle, network structure and technology superiority of GPRS communication technology in detail, designed the street lamp remote measuring and controlling system composed of the separate station's measuring , controlling and communication system, GPRS communication network and central monitoring system. On the basis of this, software and hardware of the separate station's measuring, controlling and communication system, in which use TI's single chip microprocessor MSP430F149 as the main controller, and use MOTOROLA'S G20 as the GPRS communication module, were designed and realized concretely. Besides, the pilot study of the disposition plan and the realization function of the monitoring center was done.The debugging results show that the street lamp remote measuring and controlling system designed in this paper can accomplish the signal measuring, switch controlling and communication functions well-balanced, stably, exactly and credibly. All these can satisfy the needs of the street lamp remote measuring and controlling system completely.
