Design Of Remote RFID System Based On The ZigBee Technology

Radio Frequency Identification system is an untouchable auto-identifying technology,which identifies an object and gains the relevant data through the radio signal.But the present RFID technology has some disadvantages,for example:low safety characteristic,short transport distance,high equipment cost and low flexibility when reading and writing.In order to resolve these problems,the technology of ZigBee has been introduced to RFID system, which improves the RFID system based on ZigBee greatly.This thesis has introduced the background of the ZigBee technology,described the concrete contents of related IEEE 802.15.4 and the ZigBee technology in detail , stated some features about ZigBee , such as high reliability,high reliability,great capability,high safety and so on.The circs of appliance market has also been told,at the same time it stated some RF chips and RF modules based on ZigBee technology in market.Finally,it presented general design project according the function and the working principle of the remote RFID system.CC2420 has been chosen as the wireless part of the system by comparing with common ZigBee chips.It gave concreted design circuit at the foundation of analysis hardware principle , discussed some technical details and points for attention.According to need realizing functions of the system,it has designed the software structure based on Zigbee protocol stack,which included the wireless communication between the reader and the responder,and analyzed the conceptions of the ZigBee network including the calculating of the network address,the network building,addressing and so on.Finally the debugging process of the system has come true.This thesis has realized the hardware and software design of remote RFID system,resolved some disadvantages in existed system.At the same time it has increased the area of application,and discussed the future of the technology.
