Research On Smart Home System Based On Zigbee

Smart home is a residential system that can provide convient and comfortable living environment for human.it is the development direction of future home.On April15,2009,technology team and editors in China Smart Home Net,after analyzing all the smart home technologies,products and cases that have collected.based on last definition of smart home,from the system view,give smart home a new definition.This dissertation is based on the fully interpretation of the lastest definition of smart home,the understanding of smart home products and current situation and the comparation with several wireless communication protocols that commonly used,chooses ZigBee technology to form the home network,proposed an application scheme which is smart home system based on ZigBee.This system use WEB and mobile phone as two kinds of remote control method,combing with PC,and get CC2430wireless ZigBee module,ATMegal28microcontroller, Radio Frequency Identification(RFID) module, Global System for Mobile communications (GSM) module together to form control center of the system,by the wireless ZigBee network,Internet and GSM network to realize the local and remote control of all the monitor node and optional added household appliances,to give the user a smart,flexible and convenient living space,It has the advantages of flexible in adding new electrical equipment,convenient in remote control,and intelligent in personal informnation management,and so on.Considering the function of this system,this article has introduced the detail design process in hardware and software.Among them,hardware design is mainly about the selection of key module,such as CC2430wireless microcontroller,GSM module,and the circuit design of the nodes.Software design includes the design of lower computer and upper computer.lower computer software design is the program design of ZigBee module and ATmega128microcontroller.upper computer software includes central control and manage system and home website,to realize the communication and data storage, it introduces MySQL database.Smart home system that designed in this article includes (central) Control and Manage System,Home Security System,house Light Control System and Residential Cabling System,it meets the determination of smart home and can be called smart home.
